Cybersecurity is a threat that everyone needs to pay attention to. Juniper Research predicts that in 2023 alone, more than 33 billion records will be exposed by criminal data breaches. That’s a 175 percent increase over the 12 billion records expected to be compromised in 2018 alone. Those figures are stunning!
While legislation tries to address these issues, the best defense is a combination of security tools and attentive users taking as many precautions as possible to keep their systems and personal information secure. It’s a tedious and time-consuming task, no doubt.
