I love to decorate my home for fall – Thanksgiving, in particular. My turkey collection comes out in full force, and I enjoy the warmth and comfort of the fall colors throughout my home. When it came to decorating my office when I worked corporately, though, I typically limited myself to two or three small items to provide some personal enjoyment but aimed to not overpower my workspace or my coworkers.
The holiday season can be a festive one at work, but what are the best practices for inter-office gift-giving? What’s the etiquette for the office holiday party? Is it ok to decorate your space? Is it appropriate to drink at special office events?
This week, we’re examining all of these holiday issues and more on our Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn pages. We’ve also shared some office appropriate gift giving ideas to consider in this week’s feature article if gift giving is part of your company’s culture, or it’s something you especially enjoy doing. And we’d love to hear from you, too. Share your holiday office tips and tricks with us on any of our social sites or by email at AdminSuccess@AllThingsAdmin.com.
Supporting your administrative success,
Julie
