I love reading books! They have been a very instrumental part of both my formal and informal education over the course of my life. When there is a topic I want to learn more about, I start by searching for books on the subject. They are portable and affordable, which makes them even more appealing.
So when it comes to gift giving, it’s no surprise that books are usually my favorite pick. The two books I’ve gifted more than any other titles (besides my own books) are StrengthsFinder 2.0 and Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking When Stakes are High. These books have been transformational in my career development. And they make fantastic gifts for those with whom you work the most closely and want to strengthen the partnership. I can’t recommend them enough!
