It’s that time of year again. Now is when a lot of admins start thinking about and actively planning their company’s holiday party.
As someone who doesn’t celebrate a lot of the traditional calendar holidays, it’s always been a tricky subject for me at offices I’ve worked at and in networking organizations I’m involved with. I’m not comfortable participating in events that conflict with my personal or religious beliefs. Yet, no one wants me to be excluded.
This is why it’s so important to come up with some alternatives to holiday parties that are sensitive and inclusive to everyone. The good news is, with a little planning, it can be done!
In this week’s feature article, I share some ideas for workplace celebrations that don’t revolve around holidays. And our Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn page are filled with information that will help you include the entire office in the festivities!
No one likes to be left out of the fun because of their personal preferences or beliefs. So practicing sensitivity when planning workplace celebrations ensures everyone feels like part of the team!
Supporting your administrative success,
