For a lot of admins, continued education comes at a premium. Your company may not offer ongoing training or provide you with the support and resources you need to be successful. 1. American Society of Administrative Professionals

As the largest international association for admins and executive assistants, ASAPorg.com has plenty to offer. Register for webinars delivered by industry greats, read blog entries on a variety of admin-centric topics, get help preparing for your PACE certification, and visit the Career Center, where you can peruse job listings and even get a free resume review. Membership in ASAP is free.

2. BonnieLowKramen.com

Bonnie Low-Kramen is a speaker, author, and trainer with decades of experience. Her website features a blog and podcast covering high-impact topics like workplace bullying, sexual harassment, and other workplace complications. Her popular Be the Ultimate Assistant workshops take place in various locations and focus on problem-solving strategies, organization techniques, advanced communication skills, and much more. 3. Eat Your Career

On EatYourCareer.com, you’ll find ways to nourish your admin career. With free training webinars, admin tips, career coaching, and the subscriber-exclusive Career Success Library, there’s something for everyone – from those just entering the field to seasoned professionals. 

4. Executive Leadership Support

ELSforum.com provides a platform where assistants can come together for support, collaboration, and training. In-person forums are held throughout the world, while ELSx, a free webinar series, provides additional educational opportunities. The ELS Gazette, the site’s newsletter, keeps admins informed on industry issues and upcoming events.

5. Executive Secretary Magazine

ExecutiveSecretary.com is the home of Executive Secretary magazine, a print publication that is distributed six times a year. Unleash your inner ninja with OfficeNinjas.com, a high-energy site catering to administrative professionals who want to get the job done right and have some fun doing it! Their blog covers topics like career management, office culture, productivity hacks, and wellness, while their popular “Admingling” events, held in 11 U.S. cities, as well as London, add a “party vibe” to the traditional admin conference scene. 

8. On the Right Track

Keep your career moving forward with On-the-Right-Track.com, a site devoted to helping your company save time and money. Find books, webinars, video series, and online courses on productivity, effectiveness, and organizational skills, as well as a free podcast and other offerings.

9. Red Cape Company

RedCapeCo.com is a fantastic resource for those looking to become more tech-savvy. The site, run by Microsoft Certified Trainer Vickie Sokol Evans, is a treasure trove of information regarding programs like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Sit in on a webinar, learn time-saving productivity tips on the blog, join the Red Cape Academy, or order one of Vickie’s best-selling 100 Tips books on a variety of topics.
