This summer, All Things Admin will be participating in the Office Expo at the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) conference in Grapevine, Texas. We have lots of fun things planned for our booth. But we need your help.
Which of these promotional items would be the most USEFUL, HELFUL, and/or FUN for you to use when you return to the office?
Give a thumbs up to the promotional item
you’d pick if you had only 1 choice.
Note: Colors and imprints shown are for sample purposes only.
Final selections will be branded for All Things Admin!

http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/lights/cbd4/ – these are cute
Now that is a BRIGHT IDEA, Marie! I did see those when I was hunting around…I’m glad to know you like them! Thanks for voting.
Marie, thanks – I agree with Julie … those are really cute.
I love this idea, its something different.
pink tote bag is really nice!!
Thanks, Jane. I’m of the opinion you can NEVER have too many bags. I have as many bags as some ladies have shoes.
Thanks for your vote.
Promotional item suggestions — non-breakable tumbler with a sipping lid; band that slips on a coffee/tea container—trying to describe the slides that go on coffee house cups because of the heat of the liquid–some are embossed faux leather; sandwich or salad container; foldable lunch bag; umbrella; 5×7 padfolio
Those are some excellent suggestions, Marcia! I may need to check into a few of those. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Dark chocolate! It’s healthy now.
Isn’t it a food group all it’s own?
I thought it was. Great idea, Gale!
I am a paper nut so I like the post-it notes.
Me, too, Charlotte!
Julie,
My suggestion is a small sponge shoe polisher — they’re very handy to keep in desk drawer or purse/tote bag and they’re great for touch ups on rainy or dusty days. An easy way to keep that polished professional look.
I don’t know that I’ve ever seen one of these, Jean…but I love the concept. I’ve had to use Kleenex and paper towels to make my shoes presentable again more than once. Thanks for sharing this.
We have MEN in our organization. Please cut the femmy colors and keep it gender neutral!
I can never have too many tote bags. I am a farmers market junkie and am always losing my bags. I also like the magnetic clips, if the magnet is sturdy enough to hold a decent amount of paper.
Although it’s probably out of your budget, one promotional item I reach for quite often is a circular promotional Pizza cutter with a metal blade.
Good luck.
I am married to one of our male A.P. counterparts, Carol, so this is definitely on my radar.
Pink was just the sample color I could snag for voting purposes. I have no intentions of using pink…they will certainly be branded in ALL THINGS ADMIN colors, I assure you.
I have a pizza cutter with a plastic blade that I absolutely love from one of my home repair service companies. I know just what you mean. They are super handy!
Julie,
Love the pink tote back. Like you, I am a big fan of those!
Trish Freeman
Thanks, Trish!
Memory sticks always go down well. K
I agree…they are just a bit costly when you need 1000+. We do have some cute ones identified for some upcoming product launches we’re working on though.
Personally, I really love it when I get “tote bags” that are the reusable shopping bags … what a way to have a great bag AND encourage people to use these bags, rather than the plastic bags in the grocery, or whatever kind, store!! I have picked up quite a few and LOVE using them when I go to the grocery store AND promote reuse/reduce/recycle!!
From the looks of the voting so far, I’d say you’re not alone. Looks like a NEW All Things Admin bag may be in order!
I always like the light up toys (bouncing balls, necklaces, etc.). They are fun and my kids get a fun toy when I get back home because they usually steal it from me.
I don’t have kids, but I like the light up toys, too! I have this jelly fish I got on a trip years ago that cracks me up when I come across it. I love the flashing lights.
Love tote bags, but that vote for dark chocolate is a winner in my book!
Although the tote bag lasts longer and require no exercise to burn the calories off that are associated with the chocolate. Hmmm…what a dilemma.

I like these ideas. What about check book covers? These haven’t been available for several years and mine is being held together with tape! I just can’t bear to throw it away.
Another great idea, Barb! Thanks for sharing this.
